Teacher Assistant at UCI Early Childhood Education Center

The UCI Early Childhood Education Center is hiring UCI students who are passionate about working with young children ages 2 to 5 years old during Summer Session II (August 4th to Sept. 16th)

Experiences with young children are preferable. Being able to work 25 to 40 hours during the summer is preferable.  Center is open 7:30-am - 5:30 pm., Monday-Friday.  Depending on number of desired work hours, each student's schedule is set during operation hours.

Once hired during the summer, students are expected to continue employment to the next academic year - fall quarter 2025, winter quarter 2026, and spring quarter 2026. If desired, students are eligible to continue working at ECEC until graduation. All students are expected to return and start working on Monday, September 22nd for fall quarter. No exceptions.  All students are required to work 10+ hours per week every quarter. 

This position starts immediately after the completion of the hiring process.
