Must have a valid CA Driver's License with a clean record;
Full-time UCI Student;
Available to work weekends, 12-20 hours per week, and early morning/late night shifts;
Subject to a background check;
Understand Basic math skills in order to reconcile permits sold to money collected, cash handling experience.
Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills.
Basic Computer skills
Verbally communicate parking and special event information effectively and accurately.
Ability to read maps, skills in working as part of a team or collaborating with colleagues.

Parking Attendants start at basic training level and after 30 days probationary period, the parking attendant will be promoted to level 1. Parking Attendants duties include selling and distributing parking permits.
Help campus visitors with directions and general campus information at the Information Kiosks. Attendants will set up directional signs, barricades, and traffic crowd control equipment, will maintain barricades at various parking locations, and will sell parking permits at lot entrances for special events.
At the end of each kiosk shift and after special events, Level 1 parking attendants will balance out by reconciling the number of permits sold with the amount of cash taken in.
Occasionally, parking attendants may also drive carts to transport guests to an event location. Administrative responsibilities also assigned to assist parking supervisors, leads, parking representatives, and office staffs.
