SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Remote/Hybrid Position. Organize tasks and prioritize assignments. Accuracy and neatness. Interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of personnel. Communication skills to obtain and convey information to individuals at various organizational levels. Take direction and follow established procedures within the Department. Complete work assignments in an environment of frequent interruptions and/or distractions. Operate a MAC computer, and various software (such as Google Suite, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, Word, and Outlook). Applicant must have current work study award.
SKILL SET/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Front Office Duties: Assists with various duties, including school-controlled room reservations, checking out keys, handling copier issues, updating bulletin boards, and organizing supply room. Pick up and distribute mail to appropriate recipients.
- Data Entry/Typing: Assists in entering data or typing documents for purchase orders, curriculum changes, or other documents for faculty/staff as needed.
- Website Maintenance: Assists with CASA Request Tracker emails. Assists with updates to School of Engineering Teaching Plan and posts for student announcements.
- Miscellaneous: Assists with special event set up and/or clean up. Special projects, and other tasks requested by faculty and/or staff.
