Chinese Language Program Reader

The Department of East Asian Studies in the School of Humanities is seeking a Chinese language Reader to work part-time in the Fall 2026, Winter 2027 and Spring 2027 quarters.

Requirements:


* Work-study funding. Applicants must submit copy of their accepted work-study award letter for the 2026-27 academic year to be considered.

* Native or near-native knowledge of both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese (traditional and simplified characters & Pinyin system)

Job Description:

*Grading 1st through 3rd year Chinese homework and quizzes

*Recording homework or quiz scores after grading
