Clinical Specialist

STARmed America's Clinical Specialist's primary goal is to support the sales team and assist in maximizing revenues and ensure profitability. They will interact with physicians, procedure room staff and hospital purchasing to ensure adoption of the devices by medical centers and reordering of the product regularly.

Position Summary

STARmed America's Clinical Specialist's primary goal is to support the sales team and assist in maximizing revenues and ensure profitability. They will interact with physicians, procedure room staff and hospital purchasing to ensure adoption of the devices by medical centers and reordering of the product regularly.

The Clinical Specialist will work with existing relationships to ensure that they are trained, quality/traceability to ensure no sales issues of the devices.

This position involves presenting prospective customers/clients with products offered and an explanation of our solutions. Must be energetic, well-spoken and eager to support the sales team and increase revenue.

End-user experience is vital, so the Clinical Specialist will be particulate attentive to medical personnel comments and ensure that their experience with STARmed's devices is positive. This encompasses actual users as well as support staff, such as purchasing departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting his/her assigned sales team
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up questions
  • Maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information for all business segments
  • Promote and sell STARmed America products to Surgeons, Interventional radiologists and Endocrinologists
  • Educate and inform physicians and appropriate medical staff as to the proper use of STARmed products
  • Direct Product evaluations in the operating room, procedure room, and office settings
  • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Assist in the training and development of future clinical personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a medical device company or as a trained medical technician dealing with endocrinologists/surgeons/IR is preferred but not required. Ability to be credentialed/have access privileges in all assigned customer accounts.
  • Valid state driver's license and passport. Working Conditions: This job is a field-based position. The employee will be responsible for working daily in hospitals, doctors' offices, and other medical establishments within the assigned region. Will at times be required to work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) based on customer and or business needs. Physical Requirements: This position requires the employee to sit, stand, walk, talk, listen, and speak regularly. May occasionally be required to stoop and bend. Must be able to drive an automobile and travel domestically and internationally as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
