Student Assistant
The Student Assistant provides administrative and IT support to assist the staff in the CECS Business Office. Duties include assisting with computer and network setup, processing reimbursement and purchases, reconciling ledgers, preparing reports and newsletters, updating websites, and other duties as assigned.
The Center for Embedded & Cyber-Physical Systems (CECS) is a premier interdisciplinary research unit focusing on research and educational aspects related to embedded & cyber-physical systems. With applications ranging from green technology to information appliances, network and wireless communication, robotics, medical devices, smart homes for the elderly and disabled, automotive, rail and aviation technology sectors –they are changing the way we live.
Qualification:
- Experience in IT support, computer setup, or network administration
- Knowledge of Windows environment
- Competent accounting and financial skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadline and ensure accuracy
- Must be reliable and responsible
