Operations Coordinator Student Assistant
Department Description
The UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business offers dynamic MBA, graduate, undergraduate and executive education programs. Under the guidance of our world-class instructors, students acquire the exceptional ability to grow their organizations through strategic innovation, analytical decision-making, digital information technology and collaborative execution. The Merage AssistMe team provides assistance to Business School professors and lecturers by providing support with various tasks related to teaching and doing research for the University.
Position Summary
Under the guidance and supervision of the Merage AssistMe Operations Coordinator, the Student Employee will work as part of a small and flexible team supporting professors and lecturers at The Paul Merage School of Business by prepping teaching materials and research information based on the need of the faculty. This position requires that you be on campus.
Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Request parking permits for guest speakers.
- Reserve conference rooms.
- Convert PowerPoint presentations to standard templates used by the Paul Merage School of Business
- Request/download published articles through the UCI library system
- Assist in editing class documents/working papers.
- Making deliveries and pickups to and from various Merage offices and suites
- Assist in general filing, scanning, copying, and other entry level administrative duties as needed.
