Student Administrative Support Assistant- TDS

Transportation and Distribution Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to fill the position of Student Administrative Support Assistant. This part-time position will report to the Document Management and Passport Services Manager and will provide administrative support for document management imaging projects and in-person assistance to customers seeking Passport Services.

The Student Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for:

Document Management

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining documents in accordance with established procedures
  • Scan, file, and categorize documents in electronic and physical formats
  • Input relevant information into databases and systems accurately

Passport Services

  • Provide in-person assistance to customers seeking Passport Services
  • Answer inquires related to passport application processes and requirements
  • Assist customers in completing necessary forms and documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist visitors to the Document Management and Passport Services office
  • Respond to inquires in a courteous and professional manner
  • Direct customers to the appropriate resources and provide guidance as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Can work 15-20 hours per week.

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Customer service-oriented with a friendly approachable demeanor

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry.
